People
think they can spend their time like its infinite, like it is unlimited. Some
spiritual teachers talk about eternity in the now and how we are gods trapped
in a human body with unimaginable abilities and capacities that we haven’t
tapped into. Like buddhist monks walking into a wall, or meditation masters who
feed from prana (life force) and have no need of eating or drinking. All of
this sounds appealing and desirable, to our weak society which suffers every
day by losing souls to sicknesses that we can’t fully understand.
Let me
tell you a truth, it is limited, and most of us have been spending our valuable
time without even knowing it. Technology and social media has made us devalue
our own existence, making us superficial and arrogant, with no respect for each
other or other species, or even our own home. We even care more about how we
look than how we feel.
So stop
whatever you are doing and do something it’s worth spending your time on. Help
a stray dog, appreciate what you currently have, become a constructive and
positive person, help people with their difficulties.
Be
conscious and aware of your surroundings, and be sure to use, not waste, your
time. Spend it on something that matters, like being happy.
